Well first of all I would not recommend the V200 but now that you have it here is what to do. Is there any recommendation you guys can give me RE adjusting the focus on this scanner or is this pretty much what I've bought and it can't get better? I've seen examples of people scanning 35mm on this scanner and it looked pretty good! In the example here, you can see the image from the cheapo lab (which maxes out at 2MP) is much sharper and cleaner than the one from the scanner.

I have tried adjusting the height of the 35mm film holder and played around with lots of the settings but I just can't seem to get an acceptable image from the scanner.

The simple operation and one-touch scan buttons make it simple to scan images to e-mail, copy photos and documents for archiving purposes, scan film for frame-ready enlargements, or scan books and magazine layouts.Įpson Easy Photo Fix one-touch color restoration, renews faded originals, while Digital Dust Correction quickly and intelligently removes dust from film scans and Backlight Correction software corrects under exposed images with better color accuracy. The scanner's built-in transparency unit and 3.2 Dmax offers convenient scanning of both slides and film strips with remarkable detail, and the convenient, high-rise lid, makes it easy to accomplish virtually any scanning project. The Epson Perfection V200 Photo Flatbed Scanner brilliantly scans photos, 35mm slides & film, documents, and even 3D objects, and gets brilliant results every time with 4800 x 9600 dpi.
